Job summary

Salm Partners is seeking a shift supervisor to oversee blending, seasoning, and inspection processes in our Wisconsin facility. You will guide operators and helpers, ensure safety and quality, and drive throughput improvements while maintaining strict USDA and SQF standards.

Applicants should have leadership experience in a USDA-regulated food manufacturing environment, food-blending knowledge, and strong problem solving skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma; associate degree preferred.
• Prior leadership experience in a USDA-regulated food environment is required.
• Experience with meat blending operations or ready-to-eat processed meats is highly desirable.
• Strong problem solving and root cause analysis skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Oversee blending activities to ensure safe, efficient operations.
• Review shift metrics and communicate performance results to the team.
• Ensure compliance with USDA, GMP, SQF and Salm Partners procedures.
• Identify training needs and coach partners for skill development.
• Monitor equipment setup, sanitation, and process flow for throughput.
