Job Description

Perform general production work as assigned. Help maintain and operate the department. Role model and demonstrate the company’s core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.

Responsibilities
  1. Respond to customer needs.
  2. Keep department temperature logs accurately updated and maintained.
  3. Train and follow up with Meat Department associates on temperature logs to guarantee accurately recorded temperatures.
  4. Be personable, neat, and cheerful.
  5. May operate light power equipment. Be able to learn procedures and methods of meat department.
  6. Ensure safety in work practices to prevent injury, following safety rules.
  7. Keep carts, tools, and supplies in their designated areas and well organized.
  8. Keep floors clean, safe, and free from clutter.
  9. Make a friendly impression on customers.
  10. Able to communicate effectively with customers and fellow associates.
  11. Follow all current rules and duties of the Meat Department, Company, and applicable laws.
  12. Keep work area and equipment clean and orderly.
  13. Be prompt, tactful, calm, courteous, and professional in all interactions.
  14. Adhere to company policies and procedures, especially regarding a harassment- and discrimination-free work environment.
  15. Perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.
Qualifications
Minimum
