Job summary

Berkot's Super Foods in Mokena, IL is hiring for a meat/produce position. You will perform meat and chicken preparation, receive loads from trucks, and ensure correct stacking and display replenishment, with opportunities to learn additional duties.

The role requires 18 years of age, ability to lift 40 lbs and push/pull 100 lbs, stand for long periods, and operate knives, slicers, ovens and related equipment. A full-time schedule is available depending on staffing and experience.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Able to lift 40 lbs / push or pull 100 lbs.
• Able to stand for 5 hours.
• Able to use knives, slicers, ovens, and other machinery to complete tasks.

Responsibilities

• Meat and chicken preparation.
• Receiving loads off of transportation trucks and stacking the loads properly.
• Grinding and cutting meat.
• Wrapping meat and replenishing the counter display.
• Ability to adapt to additional skills, duties, and responsibilities that are asked of the employee.

Salary Range: $16.00 To $18.00 Hourly
