Job summary

Berkot's Super Foods in Homewood, IL is seeking a full-time meat department worker to support daily operations. You will prepare meat and chicken, receive loads from trucks, and ensure the counter display is well stocked.

Candidates must be 18+, able to lift 40 lbs, stand for several hours, and operate knives, slicers, ovens and related equipment. ACA-insured benefits and paid ILLeave may be available.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Able to lift 40 lbs/Push or Pull 100 lbs.
• Able to stand for 5 hours.
• Able to use knives, slicers, ovens, and other machinery to complete tasks.

Responsibilities

• Meat and Chicken preparation.
• Receiving loads off of transportation trucks and stacking the loads properly.
• Grinding and cutting meat.
• Wrapping meat and replenishing the counter display.
• Ability to adapt to additional skills, duties, and responsibilities that are asked of the employee.
