Job summary

Berkot's Super Foods in Coal City, IL is seeking a dependable team member for meat department tasks. Responsibilities include meat preparation, loading and unloading goods, grinding and cutting meat, wrapping products, and maintaining the counter display.

Candidates should be able to operate knives, slicers, ovens, and related equipment, and be prepared to adapt to additional duties as needed. This is a full-time on-site position with ACA-based insurance and paid leave provisions.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 Years of Age or Older.
• Able to Lift 40 lbs/Push or Pull 100 lbs
• Able to stand for 5 hours
• Able to use knives, slicers, ovens, and other machinery to complete tasks
• Insurance Package (eligible through ACA)
• Paid Leave (eligible through IL Paid Leave for All Act)

Responsibilities

• Meat and Chicken preparation.
• Receiving loads off of transportation trucks and stacking the loads properly.
• Grinding and cutting meat.
• Wrapping meat and replenishing the counter display.
• Ability to adapt to additional skills, duties, and responsibilities that are asked of the employee.
