Job summary

Corning Inc. is seeking a Metrology-focused professional for our Kentucky manufacturing plant. You will support metrology systems, perform Gauge R&R and capability studies, and troubleshoot measurement issues impacting quality and production.

A BS in an engineering or related field is required, with 0–3 years of relevant experience. You will work primarily on-site, collaborating with engineering and operations to implement measurement improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Computer, Industrial Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Analytical mindset with experience in measurement systems and data interpretation.
• Experience with Gauge R&R, capability studies, SPC, and basic experimental design.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain metrology systems in manufacturing and quality assurance.
• Perform MSA analyses including Gauge R&R, bias, stability, and capability studies.
• Investigate measurement system issues affecting production and process control.
