Job summary

Enterprise Products Partners L.P. seeks a Measurement Technician in Midland, TX to measure high- and low-pressure gathering systems and support sampling, calibration, and data reporting.

You will install and maintain flow computers, transmitters, and orifice plates, and compute volumes to ensure accurate flow rates. The position requires mechanical aptitude, safety focus, and the ability to work independently or in a team in outdoor industrial environments.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Technical certification or equivalent training in a mechanical/energy-related field is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record is required.
• Must demonstrate safety commitment and mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to perform basic math and basic computer tasks (spreadsheets/word processing).
• Strong decision making, work ethic and the ability to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Measure gas/liquid in high- and low-pressure gathering systems.
• Install, program and calibrate flow computers and transmitters.
• Compute volume rates and set flow rates for orifice plates.
• Collect gas and liquid samples; operate and maintain sampling systems.
• Use on-site equipment and PC software to record data and generate reports.
• Coordinate with other departments to schedule installations and repairs.
