Job summary

BP Supply, Inc. in Carlsbad, NM is seeking a hands-on Measurement Technician to join our oilfield team.

You will collect gas and liquid samples, install and calibrate electronic flow computers, and perform routine maintenance to keep measurement systems running reliably. Ideal candidates have at least 1 year in oil and gas, familiarity with measurement equipment and software, strong organizational skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 1 year in the oil and gas industry, preferably in gas or fluid measurement.
• Proficiency with oilfield measurement equipment and related computer software.
• Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Sample collection and testing to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Install, commission, program, and calibrate electronic flow computers.
• Perform routine maintenance on measurement systems and components.
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot measurement equipment to ensure efficiency.
• Construct meter runs for precise measurements.
• Service three-phase portable separators to ensure proper operation.

What You’ll Do:

• Meter Run Construction: Construct meter runs for precise and reliable measurements.
• Separator Servicing: Service three-phase portable separators to ensure correct functioning.

Requirements
