Job summary

BP Supply Inc. in Midland, TX seeks a hands-on Measurement Tech to support gas/liquid sampling, installation, calibration, and routine maintenance of oilfield measurement systems.

You will collect samples, test, service three-phase separators, and troubleshoot instrumentation to maintain operational efficiency. Requires at least 1 year in oil and gas measurement and the physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Training provided.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 1 year in the oil and gas industry, preferably in gas or fluid measurement.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in using various oilfield measurement equipment and computer software.
• Organization & Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills with a meticulous attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Sample collection & testing to ensure quality.
• Equipment installation, calibration, and commissioning of electronic flow computers.
• Routine maintenance on measurement systems and related transmitters.
• System installation & troubleshooting to maintain efficiency.
• Meter run construction and separator servicing.

What You’ll Do:

• Sample Collection & Testing: Collect and test gas and liquid samples to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Equipment Installation & Calibration: Install, commission, program, and calibrate electronic flow computers for optimal performance.
• Routine Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance on measurement systems, including changing orifice plates and transmitters.
• System Installation & Troubleshooting: Install, maintain, and troubleshoot measurement systems and equipment to maintain operational efficiency.
• Meter Run Construction: Construct meter runs for precise and reliable measurements.
• Separator Servicing: Service three-phase portable separators to ensure correct functioning.
