Location: Corpus Christi, Texas
This role involves providing field oversight to ensure accurate measurement of crude oil, refined products, and petrochemicals shipped via marine vessels, pipelines, terminals, and refineries. Responsibilities include verifying measurement accuracy with public inspectors, vessel personnel, and agencies, analyzing measurement data, and collaborating with internal departments to calibrate equipment. The role also involves investigating losses or gains to protect CITGO assets.
Candidates should have at least 6 years of experience in oil measurement, with a background as a loss control specialist, petroleum inspector, or related field. Knowledge of static/dynamic measurement techniques is required. The candidate must be a self-starter with good computer skills; familiarity with SAP or Right Angle is a plus.
