Canes Midstream seeks a Measurement & Controls Technician to oversee and maintain electrical and pneumatic instrumentation, telemetry, and SCADA communications in West Texas facilities. You will calibrate meters, install transmitters, and support gas custody transfer measurement while prioritizing safety and compliance.
Experience with low and medium voltage, RS232/RS485 Modbus, and field networks is essential; a Texas driver's license is required.
The Measurement & Controls Tech is responsible for the safe oversight and/or manipulation, installation, configuration, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of electrical and pneumatic instrumentation; AC and DC power distribution and controls; Low and Medium Voltage switchgear, motors, soft starts, and variable frequency drives ranging from 1.0hp to 5,000hp; Radio and field network data communications; All aspects of Gas and NGL/LPG custody transfer measurement; Orifice, Coriolis, PD, & Turbine meters; BS&W, tank gauging, color cut, and thief sampling in natural gas processing facilities, gas compressor stations.
