Job summary

Western Midstream in The Woodlands, TX is seeking a measurements technician to ensure accurate, reliable, and timely reporting of measured volumes and data. The role is part of the Corporate Measurement Team and includes field liaison, data reviews, and support for system enhancements.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years in midstream measurement, strong MS Office skills, and the ability to work independently in a hybrid office setup.

Responsibilities

• Perform Meter setups, disconnects, and changes within Measurement System.
• Review measurement and exceptions data.
• Maintain parameters on flow and composition data validations.
• Ensure contractual obligations are maintained.
• Retrieve and administer 3rd party volumes as required.
• Perform monthly finalization process controls.
• Cooperate with monthly measurement close timelines.
• Support team with projects, data gathering, reporting, and testing.
• Provide training to field personnel on Measurement processes and systems.
• Liaise with field Measurement personnel and provide internal/external customer service.
• Review system volume balances.

Job Summary:

This position is located in The Woodlands, Texas office and is a member of the Corporate Measurement Team. This position is responsible to ensure that reported measurement volumes and data are accurate, reliable, and distributed timely.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for this position should possess the following minimum qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years required; midstream experience preferred


• Professional demeanor with an emphasis on customer service


• Ability to handle a wide variety of tasks in a growing and fast paced environment


• Ability to work independently


• Proficient in MS Office suite


• Experience with FlowCal Measurement System is preferred


• Oil and Gas Industry background is preferred but not required

Responsibilities:

• Comply with monthly measurement close timelines

• Provide ongoing support and training to field personnel on Measurement processes and systems


• Liaison with field Measurement personnel


• Provide customer service to internal and external customers


• Review system volume balances

Education:

• High School diploma or equivalent required.

Certification/Licenses:

• A valid driver’s license.

Travel Requirements:

• No travel is required for this position

Work Schedule:

• This position follows a hybrid schedule working in office Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and working remote Wednesday and Friday. Monday-Thursday are 9 hours and Fridays are 4 hours.
