Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a field-based Measure Specialist to conduct in-home appointments, take precise measurements, and coordinate with sales and installation teams. You will build lasting customer relationships and ensure accurate project details are captured.

Ideal candidates will have a High School Diploma or GED, and at least 1+ year of related experience, with reliable transportation for multi-location travel.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
• Reliable transportation to travel between locations.
• High school diploma and/or GED.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily routes for pre-assigned in-home measure appointments efficiently and accurately.
• Perform in-home measure appointments and take accurate measurements and calculations.
• Create, maintain, and improve customer relationships.
• Support sales, product inquiries, quote review and installation coordination.
• Ask customers open-ended questions and identify project and product needs.
• Describe merchandise features, benefits, and project steps.
• Answer customer questions using product and services knowledge.
• Identify opportunities to engage customers in other services programs.
• Follow company policies, procedures, and work schedules.
• Cooperate with associates, supervisors, and managers on assigned activities.
• Use company-issued devices.
• Report to the Assistant Market Manager.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older

• 1+ years of previous related work experience
• No previous leadership experience required
• Must continuously stand or walk or regularly lift, handle, or carry moderate-weight material or equipment (8–20 pounds)
• Travel between locations required
