Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Active auto insurance required.
• Reliable transportation for traveling to patients’ homes is necessary.
• Willing to submit to a detailed background check.

Responsibilities

• Visit patients wherever they live (home, assisted living, or skilled nursing facilities).
• Assist with letter writing or other projects.
• Read to the patient or watch a favorite TV program with them.
• Play games with the patient or family.
• Take the patient outside for a walk.
• Assist with clerical tasks.
• Assist with the bereavement program.
• Participate in community outreach.
