Make a difference as a Volunteer Coordinator- Linn County

As the full time Volunteer Coordinator at Horizons, your efforts will expand awareness of this critical program, ensuring that more individuals in need receive nutritious meals and essential social interaction. You will oversee the delivery of meals to our Meals on Wheels clients, ensuring timely and efficient service. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to identify operational efficiencies related to volunteer management and client deliveries, making a tangible impact on our organization's ability to serve our community.

To be successful as the Volunteer Coordinator, you will need to possess a unique combination of skills and experience. An associate's degree, combined with 1-3 years of related experience in coordinating and supporting volunteers, will provide you with a solid foundation for this role. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, will be essential in recruiting and engaging volunteers and coordinating with staff members. Knowledge And Skills Required For The Position Are

• Associate's degree and 1-3 years related experience in coordinating and supporting volunteers
