Job summary

BALANCE eating disorder treatment center in New York is seeking a Recovery Coach to join our growing team. You will determine and order meals for BALANCE programs based on client preferences, allergies and budget, set up meals, and maintain the kitchen and dining area while keeping records.

Responsibilities include managing meal ordering, preparation, setup and breakdown; providing individual and group meal support; overseeing kitchen inventory, hygiene and food safety; maintaining budget

Qualifications

• Experience in food service or meal support preferred.
• Background in eating disorder treatment is a plus.
• 1+ years of leadership experience.
• Passionate about eating disorders prevention and intervention.

Responsibilities

• Manage meal ordering, preparation, setup and breakdown for programs.
• Provide individual/group meal support and assist with therapeutic meals.
• Oversee kitchen inventory, hygiene, and food safety standards.
• Maintain food budget tracking, spreadsheets, and operational records.
• Collaborate with RDs to support client care and program needs.
