You will also work closely with other NHS Fife services that support patients with aspects of their ME/CFS to coordinate patient care and improve referral pathways. You will modernise and redesign the ME/CFS service using available clinical IT systems to increase the efficiency and reduce current patient wait times. It is desirable but not essential that the successful applicant has previous experience working within a community/HSCP setting and in change management or service redesign. It is essential to this that the successful applicant has:

  • 1st level Nurse Registration with the NMC

  • Understanding of developing national health agendas relevant to ME/CFS and the wider system
  • Ability to reliably and efficiently travel across Fife
  • Proficient in use of Microsoft office packages including power point and excel
  • Experience in managing behavior change relevant and CBT qualification.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills
  • Demonstrate the ability to work as a member of the wider Health and Social Care Team
  • The ability to work autonomously using own initiative
  • Excellent clinical judgment and decision making skills
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Prior achievement of UK recognised ME/ CFS accredited Course.
  • You will be educated to degree level minimum with evidence of working towards MSc within a relevant clinical area.
The successful candidate will be expected to attend interview on location in Fife and be prepared to deliver a short presentation as part of the Interview.
