Job summary

McWane Poles is hiring a Maintenance Technician for weekend shifts in our McWane Pole Division. You must be available for 3 twelve-hour shifts on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Day and graveyard shifts are available.

Starting pay ranges from $29.17 to $35.66 per hour, DOE. Excellent benefits include medical, dental, life insurance, family medical costs as low as $148 per month, weekly pay, paid vacation & holidays, 401(k) with company match, shift differential for grave and swing shifts, and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certifications preferred.
• 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair industrial equipment in a loud manufacturing environment.
• Read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics to diagnose issues.
• Ensure proper operation of equipment with preventive maintenance and repairs.
• Operate safely with required PPE and follow company procedures.

McWane Poles Maintenance Technician

Hiring for weekend shifts in our McWane Pole Division.

Must be available to work 3 12-hour shifts Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Day shift and Graveyard shift available.

$29.17 - $35.66 to start, DOE.

Work Environment

Loud industrial manufacturing environment. Work can be both indoors and outdoors, with exposure to cold, hot, dirt, dust, fumes, chemicals. Specialized PPE is required.

Physical Demands

Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, stooping, and standing for long periods. Carrying up to 40 pounds.

A post‑offer/pre‑employment physical and drug screening and background check will be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certifications preferred.
• 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics.

Preferred Skills

• Working knowledge of electrical systems (up to 480V).
• Familiar with PLCs and troubleshooting control systems.
• Proficient in mechanical systems, pumps, motors, gearboxes, and conveyors.
• Welding, cutting, and fabrication skills.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
