QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; RN license
• Valid RN license in the state employed
• 2-10 years of experience
• Preferred: three years of experience in a long-term care environment
• Experience with the MDS/RAI process and/or case management is preferred

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The MDS Nurse RAC (Resident Assessment Coordinator) reports to the Executive Director and is responsible for the accurate and timely completion of MDS assessments and coordination of the RAI process. This role oversees Medicare, Medicaid (case mix), and managed care to ensure appropriate clinical services and reimbursement. The role also ensures compliance with federal and state regulations and the company's policies. As a key member of the management team, you will help the facility achieve and maintain quality outcomes.
