Northgate Health Care Facility in North Tonawanda, NY seeks an MDS Nurse (RN or LPN) to ensure accurate MDS completion, regulatory compliance, and reimbursement optimization. The role supports Medicare, Medicaid, and PDPM processes within a skilled nursing setting.

Full-time, salaried position with a Monday–Friday schedule. $66,560–$74,880 annually depending on license and experience; equivalent hourly: $32–$36. Experience in long-term care and strong regulatory knowledge are essential.

Formación

• 2 years minimum in long-term care
• Current NY LPN or RN license required
• Experience with MDS, PDPM, reimbursement and quality measures
• Strong understanding of Medicare/Medicaid and third-party payer requirements
• Excellent time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to educate and train interdisciplinary teams

Responsabilidades

• Provide education and support to facility staff on Medicare, Medicaid, Managed Care and reimbursement workflows
• Assist with certification procedures and take part in reimbursement-related processes
• Collaborate with claims review units, compliance teams, and third-party payers for regulatory alignment
• Review denied claims, audits and administrative records for accuracy
• Monitor reimbursement compliance and trends; implement corrective systems
• Maintain reimbursement-related data and utilization analyses
• Conduct PDPM reviews upon admission and re-admission as required
• Review MDS assessments for accuracy and compliance
• Gather documentation for CMS audits and related reviews
