Qualifications

• RN license in California required.

• MDS experience in a Long-Term Care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops and coordinates the Minimum Data Set (MDS) in accordance with current rules and guidelines.
• Maintains MDS schedule within stated MDS time frames and informs social workers of pending assessments.
• Generates and distributes monthly MDS calendar.
• Creates new assessments according to MDS schedule.
• Submits the MDS report in a timely fashion to meet deadlines.
• Ensures accuracy of the MDS report.
• Maintains standards established by accrediting agencies and assists in planning constructive change.
