Wedgemere Healthcare is seeking an exceptional MDS Coordinator, Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at Wedgemere Healthcare facility in Taunton, MA. The role emphasizes MDS coordination with a focus on geriatrics and compliance with PPS and OBRA guidelines.

The ideal candidate will hold a valid MA RN license, have MDS/MMQ coordinator experience, and combine strong nursing knowledge with excellent interpersonal and time-management skills to support Residents and the Interdisciplinary Team.

Qualifications

• Must have valid RN license in MA.
• At least 1 year of MDS/MMQ coordinator experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a long-term care setting, preferred.
• Clinical experience, education or specialty skills specific to geriatrics is desired.
• Strong knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines pertaining to long term care.
• Great interpersonal skills for effective daily interaction with Residents, family members and all members of the Interdisciplinary Team
• Must have knowledge in PPS assessment as well as OBRA compliance.
• Must be a self-starter and a high attention to accuracy and details and possess good time management skills
• Ability to make independent decisions and follow through with limited supervision.
