The MDS Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining high standards of patient care while ensuring accurate medical documentation.

• 2. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to gather necessary clinical information for MDS completion
• 3. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of patient information
• 4. Review and improve clinical documentation to enhance accuracy and completeness
• 5. Analyze data related to patient outcomes and quality measures to support managed care initiatives
• 6. Provide education and training to staff on MDS processes and documentation standards

Qualifications

• 1. Current licensure as a Registered Nurse
• 2. This position requires strong analytical skills, knowledge of clinical documentation, and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare setting
• 3. Strong knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, and clinical documentation improvement practices.
• 4. Familiarity with health information management systems and electronic medical records (EMR).
• 5. Understanding of managed care principles and their application in a clinical environment.
• 6. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented atmosphere.
