Job summary

Brockton Post Acute and Healthcare Center is seeking an MDS Coordinator for a full-time role to support timely, accurate MDS assessments for resident care planning, reimbursement, and regulatory compliance.

You will supervise data entry, ensure regulatory compliance, and collaborate with nursing and clinical teams. RN-licensed candidates with LTC/MDS experience are preferred; daily pay and competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• RN, BSN or LPN graduate with active license.
• Minimum 3 years clinical long-term care experience.
• Prior MDS/RAI experience required.
• Strong clinical assessment and attention to detail.
• Working knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid regulations.

Responsibilities

• Complete MDS assessments timely per regulations and deadlines.
• Ensure compliance with federal/state MDS requirements.
• Supervise MDS data entry, validation, and transmission.
• Investigate data discrepancies and validation issues.
• Prepare and present MDS reports to the DON and leadership.
• Provide feedback to clinical teams on documentation and care planning.
• Assist with audits and regulatory reviews.
• Support Medicare/Medicaid audit responses.
• Stay current on MDS regulations and guidelines.
• Support QA initiatives and cross-disciplinary collaboration.
