Job Title: MDS Coordinator - Full Time

Location: US-NE-Lincoln

Responsibilities
  1. Oversees the daily operations of MDS submissions and reimbursement.
  2. Audits MDS submissions and reimbursements to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  3. Identifies opportunities for process improvements and tracks PDPM scores to ensure appropriate care.
  4. Coordinates and manages the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) process.
  5. Ensures compliance with all state and federal MDS transmission requirements.
  6. Performs chart analysis to verify completeness and accuracy of resident records.
  7. Assists with resident care activities as needed, including activities of daily living and transfers, within the nursing scope of practice.
  8. Uses good judgment, discretion, and integrity in resolving issues and handling complaints.
  9. Performs other duties as assigned by Tabitha.
Qualifications

Communication: Proficiency in English, understanding of job-specific terminology, and ability to follow instructions.

Physical Requirements: Ability to access the work area, perform duties safely, and lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds. Vision and hearing within normal limits.

Education: Successful completion of a Registered Nurse program.

Experience: 3-5 years of related experience preferred. Knowledge of insurance coverage, contracts, and documentation regulations is a plus.

Credentials: RN License in good standing in Nebraska or other Nurse Compact state. RAC-CT certification preferred. BLS CPR certification required. Must meet vaccination requirements.
