AVIR Health Group in Texas seeks an experienced MDS Coordinator to lead the RAI process for residents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with State and Federal regulations while building a high-performing, family-focused team.

The role includes transmitting and verifying receipt by the State, supervising staff, and promoting a culture of safety and quality care. Walk-ins are welcome daily and we offer competitive benefits, including daily pay and a strong support network.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Texas RN license.
• CPR certification required.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience in a hospital, SNF, or related setting.
• Knowledge of Federal and State long-term care regulations.

Responsibilities

• Complete the RAI process for each resident as required by state and federal regulations.
• Transmit and verify receipt of RAI data with the State.
• Lead and develop a high-performing MDS team and culture.

We are searching for a Licensed MDS Coordinator who is resident & family focused, a team builder, and excited about the opportunity to build and lead a high-performing team and culture.The primary purpose is to complete the RAI process for each resident of the facility, as required byState and Federal regulations. This includes transmission and verification of receipt by the State.

Qualifications for MDS Coordinator:

• Valid Texas Nurse License.

• Valid CPR Certification.

• Minimum of one year of experience in a supervisory capacity in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or other related healthcare program.

• Must possess knowledge of long-term care operational standards as set forth in the Federal Register, Conditions of Participation and State regulations.
