Job summary

SFE is seeking an MDM Developer to design and implement IBM MDM solutions across on-site locations including Strongsville, OH; Pittsburgh, PA; Dallas, TX; Chicago, IL; Phoenix, AZ; and Denver, CO. The role emphasizes MDM design, PME tuning, and Oracle-based data integration.

You will collaborate with data architects and analysts, customize MDM Workbench extensions, and troubleshoot data inconsistencies while communicating technical concepts to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Must have hands-on experience with IBM MDM versions (e.g., v11/v12).
• Strong Java development skills and Oracle database experience.
• Experience in data modelling and data integration tooling.
• Knowledge of suspect duplicate processing and PME configuration.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop customized IBM MDM solutions using MDM Workbench and extensions.
• Work with Oracle SQL (DDL/DML) and database design.
• Configure and tune the Probabilistic Matching Engine (PME) to detect duplicates.
• Collaborate with data architects, business analysts, and cross-functional teams to align with business requirements.
• Troubleshoot incidents and data integration issues within the MDM environment.
• Communicate technical ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve data inconsistencies.
• Collaborate effectively with internal and external teams and work independently.

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills:

• Expertise in IBM MDM versions (e.g., v11/v12), Java development, database experience (Oracle).
• Data modelling, data integration tools, and suspect duplicate processing.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Design & Customization: Design and develop customized IBM MDM solutions using tools like the MDM Workbench, including extensions, additions, and behaviour extensions.
• Databases: Experience with Relational Databases, particularly Oracle SQL (DDL, DML), and knowledge of database design.
• Suspect Duplicate Processing: Configure and tune the Probabilistic Matching Engine (PME) to identify and resolve suspect duplicates.
• Collaboration: Work closely with data architects, business analysts, and cross-functional teams to ensure the MDM solution aligns with business requirements and objectives.
• Troubleshooting: Investigate and resolve technical incidents and data integration issues within the MDM environment.
• Communication: Strong written and oral communication skills to present technical ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Problem-Solving: Analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve data inconsistencies and system issues.
