Job summary

Loyal Source is seeking a licensed psychologist to perform Medical Disability Examinations for veterans filing disability claims with VBA. Examinations cover PTSD, depression, anxiety, and related mental health conditions and provide medical opinions without direct treatment.

Work across Loyal Source clinics in the western United States. The role requires standard outpatient assessments, testing requests, and participation in peer consultations; ensure determinations meet VA guidelines and HIPAA

Qualifications

Licensed doctoral level psychologist with full independent practice license.
Must have APA‑accredited program.
Minimum 2+ years post‑licensure experience.
Computer skills: Windows OS, Outlook, Word, Teams, Excel.
Secure home workspace with reliable high‑speed internet.

Responsibilities

Perform standard outpatient mental health evaluations (MDE) including PTSD, depression, MST, anxiety and eating disorders.
Write medical opinions as the subject matter expert for VA mental health claims.
Maintain HIPAA compliance and VA policy adherence.
Collaborate with clinical team and attend peer consultations and trainings.
