Job summary

Loyal Source is seeking a Psychologist to perform Medical Disability Examinations (MDE) for veterans filing VA disability claims. The role includes comprehensive mental health assessments, opinion writing, and strict HIPAA compliance.

This is a hybrid position with duties across Loyal Source Clinics in the western United States. The psychologist will evaluate PTSD, depression, anxiety, and related conditions, delivering one-time, non-treatment assessments inside VA guidelines.

Qualifications

• Licensed doctoral psychologist (Ph.D. or Psy.D.).
• 2+ years of post-licensure experience.
• Designated secure workspace and home internet access.
• Doctoral degree from an APA-Accredited program.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive mental health examinations (MDE) including PTSD, depression, MST, anxiety, and related conditions.
• Write medical opinions as the subject matter expert for mental health claims.
• Maintain patient confidentiality per HIPAA and VA guidelines.
• C&P mental health examinations are one-time, non-treatment assessments.
