WhidbeyHealth Medical Center invites an internal medicine physician to join our rural island clinic network. The role includes two days per week at each clinic, a four-day work week, and a robust benefits package with comprehensive coverage and loan-repayment opportunities.

Qualifications

• Internal medicine physician with private practice and/or rural health experience preferred.
• Full-time position across two clinic locations with 2 days per clinic.
• Four-day work week with 1:6 call via telephone.
• NHSC/state loan repayment programs participation.
• Part of a larger healthcare system with hospitalist support.

Responsibilities

• Provide internal medicine care to a diverse patient population across all ages.
• Collaborate with hospitalist coverage and clinic staff to coordinate patient care.
• Participate in the call schedule and ensure seamless patient access.

Job description

POSITION SUMMARY
Full time opportunity forinternal medicinephysician to join our flourishing rural health community clinics. The island's north and south clinics provide care to a variety of patients covering all age groups and income levels. Two days a week at each clinic location.The clinics are part of a larger healthcare system operated by the local critical access hospital. Four day work week, 2 days at each clinic location, with excellent 24/24 hospitalist coverage - call is 1:6 (via telephone). Prefer private practice and/or rural health experience.The clinics are part of the National Health Service Corp and state program for student loan repayment programs. The provider team is comprised of one family medicine physician and five mid-level providers. There are also MSW services provided for clinic patients and RN's are staffed at both clinics to triage and assist providers with patient care. Excellent salary and benefits package.
