Job summary

Crossroads Hospice & Palliative Care in Cincinnati is seeking an Associate Medical Director to provide clinical leadership and oversight of personalized hospice treatment plans. You will collaborate with primary care physicians and the IDG to ensure timely, quality care that respects patient dignity and comfort.

The role requires current MD/DO, licensure in Ohio, and strong coordination with staff to guide patient care, investigations of clinical issues, and certification of terminal status.

Qualifications

• Current MD or DO.
• Legally authorized to practice medicine in the state of practice.
• Assumes overall responsibility for the medical component of the palliative client care program and supports the hospice program.
• Be responsive to the medical community to ensure high-quality, appropriate, and efficient utilization of hospice services.
• Assist in investigations of important problems in patient care and clinical performance.
• Assist the Agency in the coordination of patient care between clinical staff and patients' attending physicians.
• Acts as the Physician Representative of the interdisciplinary group (IDG) and/or attending physician to certify and recertify for subsequent election periods that the patient is terminally ill.

Responsibilities
