Job Description

Responsible for investigating and confirming the facts of loss for basic to advanced automobile accidents. Determines coverage, liability, damages, and otherwise adjusts and negotiates claims within the limit of authority.

We’re seeking an experienced MD Adjuster who excels in a goal-oriented environment, can effectively multitask, and brings strong customer service and empathetic communication skills to the table. Ideal candidates reside in the EST or CST time zones.

Key Responsibilities

1. For claims involving fraud or subrogation, partners with assigned reps from those areas to achieve the best outcome.
2. Recognizes and identifies vehicle body parts and understands other potential property damage.
3. Identifies customer needs and works to meet those needs using appropriate customer service skills.
4. Determines subrogation or fraud potential and how to handle.
5. Applies an intermediate understanding of insurance policies written by the company, the industry, and organizational relationships within the company and department.
6. Handles investigations regarding all aspects of auto claims (coverage, damages, subrogation) with discretion and independence within an increased level of authority.

Education

• 4-year Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)

Experience

• 2 or more years of experience (Preferred)

Supervisory Responsibilities

• This job does not have supervisory duties.

Education & Experience (in lieu)

• In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Compensation

Base compensation offered for this role is $50,000.00 - $74,120.00 annually, based on experience and qualifications.

*** Total compensation includes base pay plus incentive pay (commission, bonus, etc.) as applicable.
