Job summary

Aero Air invites applications for the Tanker MRO Manager - MD80 Series to oversee maintenance, airworthiness, and dispatch reliability of the MD-80 fleet. You will manage heavy maintenance visits, line maintenance, and SRM tasks while ensuring DOT-FAA safety standards.

Responsibilities include supervising crew chiefs and A&P technicians, coordinating with supply chain, and managing budgets. Travel of up to 65+% may be required in this role.

Qualifications

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Direct all scheduled and unscheduled MRO maintenance lines for the MD-80 series fleet to maximize dispatch reliability.
• Oversee JT8D-200 engine maintenance, performance tracking, borescope inspections, and engine replacement schedules.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent work experience

Bachelor's degree in aviation management, engineering, business or related field

FAA Inspection Authorization (IA)

FAA A&P Certification
