ACTIVITIES COORDINATOR (Part-Time @$16.39/hr)
Medina Recreation Center is accepting applications for the position of Activities Coordinator. This position is responsible for providing programs and events, including but not limited to family, community, holiday, and our Rec on the Road program. These programs are designed to encourage engagement and socialization that help support a higher quality of life for the community. The ideal candidate has skills in implementation with excellent planning and organization. Schedule is flexible, with no more than 29 hours/per week. A valid Ohio driver's license is required. CLASSIFICATION FEATURES: Under the direction of the Program Manager the Activities Coordinator is responsible for development, implementation and administration of all programs, events and activities for the specific populations including toddlers, youth, teens and adults.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
Possession of high school diploma, GED, or equivalent certificate required and preferably two or more years of direct programming experience.
Possession of a college degree or significant work in progress toward recreation, education, health education or related field preferred.
Strong organizational, leadership, and interpersonal communication skills.

ENVIRONMENTAL ELEMENTS:
This individual works indoors at MCRC and outdoors in Medina City Parks.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
