Job summary

KBR is seeking an Ashore Operations Manager for the Marine Corps Prepositioning Program (MCPP) based in Jacksonville, Florida. The role oversees overseas ashore-based site task orders involving maintenance and supply services for USMC tactical equipment, ensuring strict adherence to the contract statement of work and security requirements while coordinating with global partners.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in logistics and operations management, preferably in a military or defense environment.
  • Secret security clearance required due to the sensitive nature of the equipment and operations.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain management, distribution management, and maintenance processes.
  • Must be able to travel to various overseas locations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coordinate, and manage the accountability, readiness, and sustainment of overseas prepositioning sites.
  • Plan, develop, and maintain a program that follows the contract Statement of Work and Marine Corps policy.
  • Coordinate Task Order deliverables in support of MCPP planning and execution requirements.
  • Oversee and coordinate support for customer requests over and above the scope of the Task Order.
  • Oversee the money, manpower, materiel, facilities, and services needed to support overseas prepositioning sites.
  • Oversee and manage the budget execution for overseas prepositioning sites.
  • Develop administrative and operational policies and procedures and ensure compliance.
  • Develop and coordinate personnel management and support.
  • Oversee compliance with established safety and environmental regulations, methods, and procedures.
  • Prepare technical reports and correspondence, identify problem areas/deficiencies, and direct personnel in the development of reports & records.
  • Maintain MCPP ISO policies and procedures and enforce compliance. Facilitate logistics support operations to sustain core MMC operations.
  • Oversee long-term sustainment of the program, including budget, product delivery, quality, and regulatory changes.
  • Support Government requirements for materiel management and production of refurbishment, replacement, or restocking of MPF combat equipment and materiel.
  • Participate in weekly Production Meetings and bi-weekly BPQRB to monitor performance and address issues.
  • Support unplanned events such as augmentation of other Marine Corps theater initiatives and identification of other Marine Force maintenance deficiencies.

For over 35 years we have planned, coordinated, and executed the maintenance and logistic services for ground combat vehicles and support equipment for USMC Expeditionary Forces.

Job Summary

The Ashore Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing international ashore-based site task orders involving maintenance and supply services for United States Marine Corps (USMC) tactical equipment. This role involves overseeing logistics services, supply chain management, distribution management, and maintenance of Marine Corps Prepositioning Program (MCPP) assets staged outside of the continental United States and includes contracting, budgeting, policy, procedural, and personnel support. The Overseas Operations Manager will ensure all operations function in accordance with the contract statement of work and can be performed during times of crisis, maintaining high standards of security and accountability for sensitive equipment.

  • Lead, coordinate, and manage the accountability, readiness, and sustainment of overseas prepositioning sites.
  • Plan, develop, and maintain a competent and complete program that follows the contract Statement of Work and adheres to Marine Corps policy and procedures.
  • Coordinate Task Order deliverables in support of MCPP planning and execution requirements.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in logistics and operations management, preferably in a military or defense environment.
  • Secret security clearance required due to the sensitive nature of the equipment and operations.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain management, distribution management, and maintenance processes.
  • Experience with COMSEC/CCI and related security protocols.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in high-pressure environments and manage crisis situations effectively.
  • Proficiency in using computer hardware and software for record-keeping and reporting.
  • Must be able to travel to various overseas locations as required.
