Job summary

International Leadership of Texas is seeking a qualified MCJROTC Coordinator to lead the program at the assigned campus. The role involves coordinating with senior school officials and District MCJROTC personnel to establish procedures for administration, management, and education of MCJROTC students.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree, MCJROTC Instructor Certification, and an honorable military discharge with at least 8 years of active service, plus 8+ years of Marine Corps experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
• Honorably discharged from the military with at least 8 years of active service.
• MCJROTC Instructor Certification by Marine Corps Training and Education Command.

Responsibilities

• Comply with all regulatory guidelines in DoD Instructions, MCOs, ILTexas policies.
• Provide comprehensive educational instruction to MCJROTC cadets.
• Assess and document cadet progress using Cadet Records Manager.
• Develop and implement lesson plans using MCJROTC LE levels I–IV.
• Implement instructional strategies reflecting ILTexas Performance Standards.
• Adhere to Marine Corps Program of Instruction (POI) requirements.
• Collaborate with education staff and counselors to maximize program effectiveness.
• Perform administrative and logistical tasks for MCJROTC program management.
• Maintain proficiency in Cadet Records Manager for cadet administration.
• Oversee fundraising accountability per school and district policies.
• Coordinate extracurricular and co-curricular activities to meet POI requirements.
• Establish professional relationships with parents and students and community members.
• Participate in professional development to improve job-related skills.
• Comply with all applicable regulations and required compliance training.
• Attend faculty meetings and serve on staff committees.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by Executive Director or Principal.
