SpatialGIS is looking for a MC&G Domain Specific Project Support candidate to assist transition of capabilities from Research, Development, Test & Evaluation (RDT&E) efforts into operations and maintenance (O&M).

Duties And Responsibilities

Assist transition of capabilities from Research, Development, Test & Evaluation (RDT&E) efforts into operations and maintenance (O&M),

Support concept development and technology maturation studies for MC&G Mission Domain efforts.

Support analysis of alternatives (AoA) studies to determine best technology approaches for customer requirements.

Develop program plans, mission concept of operations, and system specification documentation for select MC&G Mission Domain projects.

Develop program management documents required to execute the programs.

Support coordination with the Source mission partner, external mission partners, cross-NGA office, and cross-agency.

  • Support budget and cost analysis efforts for the MC&G Mission Domain portfolio of projects.

Support requirements development and decomposition, enterprise architecture integration and configuration management.

Develop engineering roadmaps to support acquisition activities.

Provide risk management support to the program management team to identify, manage, and mitigate project risks.

Use digital engineering tools and processes to create and maintain solutions architecture, integrated roadmap, holistic set of mission-based effectivities, and agile development artifacts.

Brief internal and external to MC&G PEO.

Required:Active TS/SCI clearance

2 years of experience working with the National System for Geospatial Intelligence (NSG) community and its functions, with tasks to include understanding management processes and communication across all levels of the organizational hierarchy.

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Geography, Geographic Information Systems, Geodetic Sciences, or related STEM degree.

2 years of experience performing engineering planning efforts for projects and services throughout their life cycles, from pre-acquisition through final disposition, and creating and maintaining integrated project roadmaps, a holistic set of mission-based requirements, and associated engineering artifacts.

2 years of specialized experience in applying systems engineering processes, requirements analysis and decomposition, interface definition, and detailed implementation planning of large complex systems or enterprises and enterprise-wide interoperability.

Desired

Master’s degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Geography, Geographic Information Systems, Geodetic Sciences, or related STEM degree.

Experience with DoD or IC acquisition processes and procedures.

Experience in program / project management.

Experience in one or more areas of: data change detection, object / entity identification, entity extraction, computer vision, or machine learning.
