Job summary

Draper is seeking an MTS 1 Requirements Engineer to join the DREAM Group in Cambridge, MA. You will help define, analyze, and document system-level requirements for national security programs under guidance from senior engineers.

Responsibilities include gathering requirements, translating objectives into verifiable tasks, supporting MBSE with SysML tools (MagicDraw), and developing lightweight data workflows with Python.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, physics, mathematics, or related field.
• 0–3 years of systems engineering experience with emphasis on requirements engineering.
• Familiar with MBSE and SysML tools (e.g., MagicDraw) and DOORS.

Responsibilities

• Participate in requirements assessments.
• Assist in strategic technical planning, project management, performance engineering, risk management and interface design.
• Conducts requirements engineering, scheduling, reliability, development, and evaluation, maintainability and analysis for training.
• Supports the analyses and allocation of requirements.
• Assists in the capture and translation of mission and customer requirements/needs into systems/capability requirements and solutions.
• Assist in the assessment effort in conducting both formal and informal evaluations and analysis.
