Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems in Boulder, CO seeks an MBSE Systems Engineer to support system architectures, requirement decomposition, and model-based analysis for RF segments across programs. You will work with senior engineers and customers to ensure well-defined requirements and architecture throughout the lifecycle.

You will develop MBSE models, manage requirements, and contribute to verification planning, with opportunities to collaborate across teams and programs in a dynamic aerospace

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline with 5+ years of relevant experience OR Master’s with 3+ years OR PhD with 1+ year.
• Working knowledge of systems engineering principles and processes.
• Demonstrated ability to learn new concepts quickly and adapt to new approaches.
• Experience in design, development, and integration of ground system software, networking, and/or RF antenna programs.
• Active Secret clearance required at time of application.

Responsibilities

• Support the development of system architectures, requirements decomposition, and MBSE analysis for RF segment stems.
• Contribute to system definition, requirements management, verification planning, and system integration activities from early development through test.
• Collaborate with senior engineers, program leadership, and customers to ensure requirements and architecture are well defined and aligned.
• Develop and maintain system models and engineering artifacts within MBSE tools to support traceability and verification.
