Job summary

Insight Global is seeking multiple MBSE Systems Engineers II-IV to support a high-visibility aerospace and defense program focused on requirements development, systems architecture, MBSE, and technical design execution.

The ideal candidate has SysML modeling experience and MBSE tool proficiency (Cameo, MagicDraw, or Rhapsody), with a Bachelor’s in a STEM field and 2-9+ years in systems engineering. Active Secret Clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Active Secret Clearance required.
• Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline and 2-9+ years of systems engineering experience.
• Experience with requirements development, management, analysis, or allocation.
• Experience developing SysML models.
• Experience with MBSE tools such as Cameo, MagicDraw and Rhapsody.
• OCSMP certification beneficial.
• Experience using AFSIM.
• Experience leading technical projects or engineering teams.
• Jira and Confluence experience.
• Experience with DOORS or similar tools.
• Experience supporting Agile environments.
• Experience in aerospace/defense/space projects.
• Mentoring junior engineers.

Responsibilities

• Support technical planning and system development across the engineering lifecycle.
• Develop MBSE artifacts using SysML and Cameo Enterprise Architecture.
• Collaborate with IPTs to develop documentation.
• Support system architecture development including behavioral, structural, and analytical models.
• Contribute to requirements development, decomposition, allocation, traceability, and baseline management.
• Support pre-review readiness and major design reviews.
• Develop and improve modeling techniques and tool integration strategies.
• Interface with teams, leadership and customers to align with objectives.
• Contribute to continuous process improvement in MBSE activities.
