Job summary

Moseley Technical Services, Inc. is seeking a Systems Engineer in Colorado Springs to support the Missile Defense Agency Threat Modeling Center at Schriever SFB.

You will help derive requirements, build MBSE models, and support simulation tools across the lifecycle. Required are DoD clearance eligibility (TS/SCI preferred in some cases), experience with modeling & simulation, and programming in Python, MATLAB, or C++.

Qualifications

• Active DoD clearance required or ability to obtain TS/SCI access.
• Bachelors in STEM + 2+ years of relevant experience or Masters in STEM with 0+ years of experience.
• Experience executing or analyzing results from military Modeling & Simulation frameworks.
• Experience with data analysis, scripting, or automation using Python, MATLAB, or C++.
• Familiarity with missile defense concepts, space-based sensors, or orbital mechanics.
• Basic MBSE understanding and ability to produce systems engineering artifacts.

Responsibilities

• Elicit and analyze system requirements for new capabilities and improvements.
• Develop and maintain MBSE models and associated artifacts.
• Support software development lifecycle through verification and validation tasks.
• Prepare technical briefings and documentation for customers and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with software, modeling & simulation, and systems engineering teams.
