Job description

As a Systems Analyst, you will contribute to research, development, and acquisition projects by working closely as part of a project team that is responsible for developing AI technologies that solve sophisticated problems. You will play a crucial role in the design, modeling, and analysis of systems using Systems Modeling Language (SysML) and Cameo Systems Modeler. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure the effective implementation of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) principles in the development of architectures for artificial intelligence systems.

• System Modeling: Develop and manage detailed system models using SysML within Cameo Systems Modeler, capturing requirements, behaviors, and relationships to represent complex systems accurately as described by systems engineers.
• Requirements Analysis: Work closely with stakeholders to document and analyze system requirements, ensuring that they are effectively translated into SysML models.
• Verification and Validation: Conduct thorough verification and validation of system models to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with established standards.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including engineers, architects, and project managers, to integrate system models into the overall development process.
• Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of system models, design decisions, and analysis results.
• Training and Support: Provide training and support to team members on the use of Cameo Systems Modeler and best practices in MBSE.
• Participate in integrated test sessions with industry partners, academia, and customers/sponsors.
• Contributes to project vision and milestone development. Identifies tasks and supports team initiatives to accomplish them.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Experience

• BS in human factors, computer science or a related discipline or equivalent experience.
• Familiarity with industry standards and best practices in MBSE.
• Proven experience as an MBSE SysML Systems Analyst, with a focus on its applications in the modeling of complex systems using Cameo Systems Modeler and other No Magic solutions and tools.
• Knowledge of requirements management, functional requirements parsing, derivation, and allocation; and familiarity with Verification and Validation (V&V) principles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Ability to travel to support technical presentations, testing, and integration.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense (DOD) Security Clearance.

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

Preferred Skills (Not Required)

• Certification in MBSE or graduate degree in a related discipline.
• Experience working in artificial intelligence and unmanned autonomy architectures.
• 2+ years of experience creating SysML models using Cameo Systems Modeler
• Proficiency in MBSE modeling language (SysML/UML) and architecture frameworks (DoDAF, UAF)
• Experience with requirements management and system modelling tools, such as DOORS and Cameo Enterprise Architecture
• Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools, modeling language, and architecture frameworks.
• Experience with performance analysis or QA.
• Experience supporting development projects for defense or aerospace.
