Job summary

GE Aerospace offers an internship/co-op to help invent the future of flight. You’ll gain hands-on engineering experience across design, analysis, testing, and services, within the MBSE collaboration with the University of Michigan. Mentorship and training are provided to develop professional and technical skills.

Placement depends on major, year, and business needs, with potential for a full-time position after graduation. Pay starts at $24/hour, with relocation and housing assistance available.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale without rounding.
• US Citizenship and ability to obtain a security clearance is required.
• Attending a full time matriculated and nationally accredited engineering program (Aeronautical/Aerospace, Ceramic, Chemical, Electrical, Materials Science/Engineering, Mechanical) or equivalent.
• Willingness and ability to work in the United States; locations Cincinnati, OH or Lynn, MA.
• Reliable transportation; many sites lack public transportation.

Responsibilities

• Gain broad exposure to engineering with MBSE-focused design, analysis and testing projects.
• Work on engine components related to your studies as part of the MBSE program.
• Engage in design, analysis, life management, and performance assessments for engines.
• Placement will consider your major, year and business needs at placement time.
