Job summary

G2 Ops, Inc. seeks a Model-Based Systems Engineer to support PMW 770 Undersea Communications systems, including ExVLF program environments.

The role focuses on MBSE products, digital engineering deliverables, requirements, system design, analysis, verification, and lifecycle decisions. You will collaborate with government customers, engineers, and analysts to align MBSE outputs with program objectives, develop model artifacts, and support interoperability across mission-critical environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, systems engineering, computer science, mathematics, or a STEM field.
• 3+ years of MBSE, systems engineering, digital engineering, or system-architecture experience.
• Experience applying MBSE to requirements, architecture, design, analysis, verification, or lifecycle activities.
• Familiarity with MBSE tools and standards; ability to create clear model artifacts for stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Apply MBSE methods across requirements, design, analysis, verification, and validation.
• Develop and maintain system models, diagrams, and digital engineering deliverables for PMW 770 Undersea Systems.
• Support interoperability analysis to ensure cross-environment compatibility.
• Produce model-derived reports, summaries, and decision-support materials for leadership.
• Coordinate model information and digital-thread objectives across teams.
• Help mature a model-based culture with digital enterprise practices.
• Establish digital-thread connections across SE, cybersecurity, CM, software, and integration disciplines.
• Collaborate with government customers and engineers to align MBSE outputs with program goals.
