Job summary

Centil, LLC. is seeking a Model Based Systems Engineer to join their team in Boulder, CO. This role involves using Model-Based System Engineering techniques to design, implement, and maintain defense systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in systems engineering, experience with MBSE practices, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

The expected salary range for this position is between $140,000 and $180,000 per year based on experience.

Qualifications

• Must be a US Citizen with an active US government security clearance.
• Experience in Model-Based System Engineering (MBSE).
• Background in radar, ground systems, or space systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct requirements derivation and documentation.
• Support System Requirements Review (SRR) and Critical Design Review (CDR) processes.
• Participate in test design derivation.

Skills

Active DoD security clearance (Secret minimum)

5+ years of systems engineering experience

Proficiency in MBSE tools (e.g., Cameo)

Experience with requirements derivation

Familiarity with DoD acquisition processes

Experience with integration and test

Education

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
