Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Configuration Management professional to establish, implement, and maintain the CM plan and procedures across systems engineering programs. You will manage baselines, control MBSE artifacts in Cameo, support Configuration Control Boards, and ensure traceability from requirements through documentation, participating in audits and program reviews.

This role requires U.S. citizenship, an active TS/SCI with polygraph, and the ability to collaborate with architects and program

Qualifications

• U.S. citizens with active TS/SCI clearance and polygraph.
• Experience supporting configuration management within systems engineering environments.
• Experience managing baselines, configuration control, and technical documentation.
• Experience supporting Configuration Control Boards and engineering change management.
• Familiarity with MBSE concepts and lifecycle processes.
• Experience maintaining configuration records and traceability.
• Ability to collaborate with systems engineers, architects, and leadership.
• Strong organizational, documentation, and communication skills.
• Desired: DoD or Intelligence Community program experience.
• Desired: CMPRO familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Establish, implement, and maintain the Configuration Management Plan and supporting CM procedures.
• Manage and maintain configuration baselines for system architecture, models, documentation, and artifacts.
• Maintain configuration control of MBSE models and artifacts (Cameo or similar).
• Coordinate and facilitate Configuration Control Board activities and change tracking.
• Review and process Engineering Change Requests and configuration documentation.
• Maintain configuration status accounting for items, baselines, and changes.
• Ensure traceability between requirements, models, docs, and artifacts.
• Maintain document control procedures for engineering documentation and deliverables.
• Conduct functional and physical configuration audits; support program reviews and audits.
