Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair tooling, and perform waxing of tooling per schedules.
• Read drawings and specifications to ensure correct parts and finishes.
• Complete required documentation for finished parts for production.
• Work safely with PPE and follow hazardous material guidelines.
• Keep work areas clean and organized.

Position Summary:Maintenance and repair of tooling. Waxing of tooling in accordance with established wax procedures and schedules. Maintains the condition of deck, hull and small part tooling.Responsibilities/Duties:Apply high energy, self motivation and initiative to learn and be trained on various types of equipment and processes.Ability to use high-speed pneumatic/battery powered tools (buffers, power sander, etc.) and hand tools safely and effectively.Sand and buff problem area to make a smooth, shiny surface.Must be able to read drawings and specificationsComplete required documentation of finished parts for production purposesDaily job duties will be varied and dynamic.Workload will be tracked via daily schedules and assignments requiring responsibility and accountability for quality and timeliness of completion.Ability to perform job functions safely and effectively in a fast-paced environment while wearing all required PPE and following safety policy and hazardous material guidelines.Must practice good housekeeping by keeping work areas clean at all times.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
