Job summary

Mary Bridge Children's Hospital & Health Network in Tacoma, WA, seeks a part-time Coordinator to provide bookkeeping and office support for Mary Bridge Brigade. You will greet visitors, handle calls, process emails, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations in a fast-paced nonprofit environment.

This role requires organizational skills, experience with donor management and fundraising, and proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• BA preferred or four years equivalent experience.
• Minimum two years relevant experience: event planning on both small and large scale.
• Experience in Donor Management and Fundraising.
• Experience with computer software applications (QuickBooks, & Microsoft products).
• Demonstrated secretarial experience at administrative level.
• Experience working in the nonprofit field.

Responsibilities

• Answer the phone, process email requests, greet people, and perform routine office activities including the use of all Microsoft Office programs in a professional, friendly and knowledgeable manner
• Update and maintain registrations, certifications, business licenses and other operating requirements for MBB
• Prepare the annual calendar and coordinate with President, executive officers and committee chairs to ensure processes adhere to bylaws and nonprofit best practices

As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $28.41 - $40.89 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant’s years of experience align.
