Job summary

Suffolk Technologies is seeking an MBA intern for a 10-week summer program. You will work directly with senior investors on live deals, evaluate companies and founders, and develop an original investment thesis to inform real decisions.

The role requires on-site presence 4 days a week in our Boston or San Francisco offices, with a focus on using AI to transform how research, sourcing, diligence, and portfolio work are conducted.

Qualifications

• MBA student graduating in 2028.
• 3+ years of experience in investing, startups, technology, consulting, banking, operating roles, or another analytically rigorous environment.
• Exceptional analytical judgment and the ability to quickly develop a point of view.
• Deep curiosity about technology, startups, and how the physical world is changing.
• High agency and comfort creating structure from ambiguity.
• Strong communicator who can turn complex analysis into clear, compelling investment perspectives.

Responsibilities

• Build an investment thesis: develop conviction around an emerging market and present your recommendation to the investment team.
• Source: find exceptional founders and companies before others.
• Invest: evaluate live opportunities through market research, financial modeling, customer diligence, and memos.
• Build with AI: use AI to enhance research, sourcing, diligence, and portfolio work.
