The Finance MBA Intern partners with business and finance leaders to analyze complex business challenges, evaluate financial and operational performance, and develop recommendations that drive strategic decision‑making. During this 12‑week internship, the intern will contribute to initiatives such as financial planning and analysis (FP&A), corporate development, business intelligence, strategic finance, capital allocation, cost optimization, and performance analytics. The role requires strong analytical capabilities, business acumen, and the ability to influence stakeholders through data‑driven insights and professional communication.

Internship Responsibilities:

Intern responsibilities will vary based on functional placement, but typical responsibilities include:

• Use quantitative analysis, financial modeling, and business insights to evaluate performance, identify opportunities, and solve complex problems. Demonstrates curiosity and a structured approach to decision‑making.

• Assesses financial and business risks, evaluates tradeoffs, and develops thoughtful recommendations supported by data. Exercise discretion when managing confidential or sensitive information.

• Develop and present actionable recommendations to cross‑functional stakeholders

• Support strategic initiatives, process improvements, or cost‑savings efforts

• Collaborate with teams across Sales, Operations, Product Management, Finance, and more to solve real business problems

• Prepare leadership‑ready presentations or reports to share findings

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing an MBA degree

• 3+ years of professional business experience in Finance or related field

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; comfort working with data

• Ability to establish and maintain relationships with individuals at all levels of the organization, in the business community & with vendors along with preferred negotiation experience

• Demonstrated ability to present to senior management with the purpose of influencing decisions

The anticipated salary range for this position:

$92,000.00 - $138,000.00 Annual

The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
